Our training is open to adults and teenagers over 12 who are passionate about martial arts and Chinese culture. No prior Kung Fu experience is needed—beginners often have an advantage by starting fresh! The training is adaptable to different fitness levels, so age is not a barrier. Motivation and a willingness to learn are the most important qualities for getting the most out of your experience.
You’ll need a passport valid for at least 6 months with two blank pages, and a visa for China. Once you’re registered, we’ll provide all the necessary documents for your visa application. For more detailed information, please visit the official chinese Visa application website.
We recommend registering as early as possible due to limited space. Visa applications can be submitted up to 5 months before your departure, so the sooner you start, the better!
Training starts at sunrise, with sessions from 6-7am, 9-11:30am and 3:30-6pm. Evenings are free for rest or additional training. Each day is designed to balance intense learning with personal growth.
Our training in China does not have specific start or end dates, so you can join our school whenever it suits you! However, please note that the school will be on winter break from December 20th to February 20th.
Language barriers are part of the adventure! Our instructors and students use gestures, mimes, and translation tools to communicate. These challenges often lead to great bonds and memorable interactions.
We provide a training outfit, kungfu shoes and basic necessities. You should bring comfortable sneakers, training T-shirts, city outfits for weekends, and any personal medication you might need. Lots of products that you can buy in foreign countries are not to be found in China, so preparing well ensures a great stay.
Our school is like a big Kung Fu family, and you will be warmly welcomed by everyone. Being part of this family means you’re not treated as a guest but as part of daily life. For example, you’ll clean your room like everyone else and may help carry the master’s shopping.What to expect...After 2 weeks:You will gain an understanding of Chinese culture, learn the basics of Kung Fu, and complete your first form. You’ll begin training in disciplines such as Sanda, Acrobatics, and Weapon Taolu. By now, you’ll have conquered the 10,000 steps of Mount Song and will start to grasp the path of Kung Fu.After 2 months:You’ll have completed your first weapon Taolu and developed a solid foundation in striking and kicking techniques in Sanda. You might have done your first backflip, and running up the mountain for the 8th time will start to feel easier. Your health will noticeably improve—your stability, strength, and flexibility will increase, and you’ll feel a stronger connection within your body. Your breathing will become calmer, and your overall energy will flow more freely.After 6 months:You’ll have become proficient in several forms, and waking up at 5:30 a.m. for power training will no longer feel difficult. Running up Mount Song will become part of your rest day routine. After six months, your explosiveness in movement will have dramatically improved. Through intense training, meditation, and Qi Gong, your mind will be calmer, and you’ll have heightened awareness, giving you the mental clarity to focus on the finer details of your training and other aspects of your life. The basics will have become second nature, allowing you now to refine even the smallest aspects of your technique.
You have three options. You can hire a driver who will pick you up for 300 yuan, take a taxi to the school or take a 60 yuan bus to Dengfeng and take the Taxi from here. We’ll make sure your journey to the school is as easy as possible.
Your health and safety are our top priority. Inform the instructors immediately if you’re injured or unwell. We have access to Chinese medicine doctors and hospitals for appropriate care. Don’t forget to bring personal medication for minor ailments.

WeChat in China is incredibly useful for staying in touch with family, friends, and instructors. It even includes translation features to help you communicate more easily.
